This brand new single storey replacement school and was built on the site of the old school. It has multiple buildings able to accommodate 1500 learners & staff. Notable facilities are a computer lab, music room, a fully fitted feeding kitchen, school hall with offices & ablutions, administration block, generous passages & free-play areas and sports facilities for rugby, soccer, etc. Existing structures were refurbished & re-purposed to accommodate Foundation Phase learners. Special small agricultural areas were created for the cultivation of vegetables.

This brand new multi-storey switching station comprises a Switchgear Room, Control Room & Battery Room. The Switchgear Room houses 20 switchgear machines each weighing  in excess of 3-4tonnes on its suspended ground floor slab. This highly technical building required special design considerations in order to facilitate the machines' installation, commissioning and operation. The machines reduce the high voltage electricity supply from the power stations down to usable, commercial/residential levels for the expansion of the existing Paardevlei Industrial Area.
